MCP project handoff is liveBuild with your coding agent

Getting started / Quickstart

Get from search to Build in a few minutes.

This is the shortest path through Immensity. Start in the web app, choose a grounded problem, create a project, run Analysis, generate the Build, then connect a coding agent when you are ready to execute.

1. Sign in

Open Immensity and sign in to the account that will own your projects.

2. Search for a problem

Use a short description of the pain you want to investigate. Search works best when the query describes a workflow, recurring frustration, or job to be done rather than a product idea.

ExamplesSearch
closed testing for Android apps
freelancers chasing unpaid invoices
restaurant managers scheduling hourly staff

Search returns existing Immensity problem clusters with a problem statement, summary, evidence count, source communities, and whether you already have a project for that cluster.

3. Create a project

When a result is worth investigating, create a project from that problem. The project becomes the durable container for the evidence, Analysis, Build, and implementation progress.

One problem, one project state

Your coding agents do not need a giant prompt every time. They can reconnect to the same Immensity project and continue from its current state.

4. Run Analysis

Analysis converts the project's source evidence into a structured Problem Case. It identifies the concrete problems, affected users, situations, and evidence relationships instead of jumping directly to a solution.

In the web app, Immensity runs the Analysis workflow. Through MCP, the connected host model performs the reasoning while Immensity supplies the evidence, output schema, validation, and versioned persistence.

5. Generate the Build

Once the Problem Case is ready, generate a Build. The Build turns the grounded problem into implementation-ready scope and planning that can be reviewed before coding begins.

Each saved Build is versioned. Approving a Build creates a stable implementation contract for the coding workflow.

6. Connect your coding agent

Connect an MCP client to Immensity's hosted endpoint, authorize the account in your browser, then select or create the project you want the agent to work from.
